Argumentative Writing Workshop for Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts Teachers

Are you a Middle School or High School teacher who is interested in learning more about the necessity of argumentation as a skill built across all disciplines and enhancing your students’ abilities to use evidence to build explanations and support arguments? Ohio State is offering a summer workshop to train participants on effective ways to teach argumentation in middle and high school classrooms. Rather than being the domain of English language arts teachers, argumentative writing should be a skill built across all disciplines.Teams of teachers from the same building or district are encouraged to apply!
