This online self-paced course will help you increase your knowledge, skills, and capacity to integrate Ohio relevant weather and climate topics in both public and professional environmental education and outreach. The course is divided into four one-hour learning modules including an introduction to Ohio’s weather and climate; bringing weather and climate science to your community; impacts of climate change in Ohio; and community science and effective communication practices.
While this workshop was originally designed for Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists, it is free and open to anyone who would like to learn more. It will run from February 18 to March 28 with an optional kickoff with the course instructors on Feb 18.
