We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Wildlife Research Technician within the Division of Wildlife, assigned to Greene County. Job Description
What you will do…

Conduct wildlife surveys and other research
Serve customers by providing technical support for nuisance and injured wildlife through call center second-tier calls
Provide Internal support for nuisance and injured wildlife
Monitor wildlife diseases
Starting hourly pay of $21.97/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $26.72/hr.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: You may be required to outside of your normal work hours (after 5:00PM, weekends, holidays). May be exposed to high & low temperatures; may be exposed to weather. May work with dead or diseased animals.

Qualifications
2 yrs. exp. in wildlife management position.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in wildlife management, wildlife biology or zoology or other related field.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
