Mapping the National Parks For those of you visiting the National Parks, you might be interested in an online archives of historical maps, called Mapping the National Parks, developed by the Library of Congress. The collection documents the history, cultural aspects and geological formations of areas that eventually became National Parks and includes some 200 maps dating from the 17th century to the present. A nice virtual exhibit with many pdf and downloadable digital files of the maps.
