Event Description


This two day workshop will explore harmful algal blooms, their toxins and treatment options along with some newer water quality threats. Discussions on these emerging contaminates of concern include PFAS, microplastics, Legionella and Lithium. This workshop is geared toward water professionals interested in emerging threats to the environment and drinking water quality. For certified operator, 12 Ohio EPA contact hours are anticipated. Workshop leaders are Dick Lorenz and Heather Raymond.
