Event Description

Grow your impact and help inspire the next generation of environmental stewards by becoming a Project Learning Tree (PLT) Facilitator! Join PLT-Ohio for a hands-on facilitator workshop designed for educators, natural resource professionals, community leaders, and anyone passionate about connecting people to the outdoors.

During this interactive training, participants will gain the tools, confidence, and resources needed to lead their own PLT workshops and expand the reach of environmental education throughout their communities. Facilitators play an important role in helping other educators, youth leaders, and organizations bring meaningful outdoor learning experiences to more students and families.

Attendees will explore engaging, student-centered activities that support critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world connections to forests, conservation, and natural resources while helping get more kids learning and exploring outside. Participants will also learn practical facilitation strategies from experienced PLT leaders and connect with fellow educators and professionals.

Every participant will receive valuable educational materials to immediately use in classrooms, youth programs, community events, and beyond. Plant a seed today and help grow a lifetime of learning through Project Learning Tree!
